Reaping Big

You reap what you sow and we're reaping big. This cucumber and green bean proves the TLC Jimmy's been giving the garden. We've never grown green beans before and I suspect we let some stay on the vine too long. Bigger may not better because these beans were dry and stringy. We'll try picking them sooner.

Cucumbers, zucchini, cilantro, eggplant, red bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, chives, and tomatoes...I'm looking forward to making some yummy salsa!
Our garden got started a little late this year, so the only thing I've used so far is the cilantro and green onions. There's a cucumber that will be ready soon. My mom gave me some green beans that her neighbor had given to her--so delicious!
