Ah...Spring

It's a beautiful day today. The sun is out and spring has sprung. Jimmy and I have decided to plant fewer decorative plants and more eatable ones. This year my pots are full of all sorts of delicious greens.

Garlic chives and lettuce (back)
Cilantro (front)

Oregano, garlic chive, and cilantro.

Spinach sprinkled with
Cheyenne pepper to keep
Cocoa Bean away.

Lettuce, spinach, and...
Cheyenne.

Left over pepper, strawberry,
and cucumber plants that will go in the garden.
What are you planting this summer?

We'll probably plant flowers out front the way we always do. Good for you for trying something different this year! I don't have a green thumb so not sure how branching out would work for me:)Hope you have good success with all your plants!

By the way, I posted about spring last night, too! Come over and tell me your favorite things about spring when you get a chance. So glad it finally seems to be here!

I planted spinach, lettuce, broccoli, and cauliflower in pots last November and in the ground behind pansies and other winter flowers. I am planting a few more tomatoes this week and will put some in pots and some mixed with tall flowers. I wish we could grow lettuce and spinach year round!

Hope you had a great day in the sun with the Son.

I would LOVE to do tomato plants..and maybe some onion and peppers...but I have a Black Thumb...I can't hardly keep my 2 house plants alive!!
So guess I just have to go pick from my friends garden!

My 4 year old son insisted we plant a blueberry bush this year, so that is what we did...along with our many flowers and azalea bushes.
