Luckily, I am a very organized person also and use calendars and day planners as you do. They are essential to being organized. I do feel like I've slacked off a bit but I just feel tired...tired of schedules. Thankfully though, it's a new year and I love fresh new starts with new goals.
Nancy, I do like your idea of placing lists on the mirror for each day. I may have to just give this a try in 2009!
Hi Nancy, Well like you I buy a new calendar at the end of each year and get all birthdays, anniversaries, and school days posted.
I have recently started a new thing. With work, tutoring, working out, and all the other parts of my day...thinking about what to cook has become a burden. I don't mind cooking..just get really tired of planning it all out. So...me and one of my girlfriends plan the entire month of meals..for example..we both plan our January meals..then we trade calendars...this gives me a whole other month of ideas..and lots of new recipes. This way I can be more concise when grocery shopping ( apt. living does not leave a lot of extra storage for buying bulk)
This plan has alleviated so much stress. Now I just check the weeks meal plan..make the grocery list..and Ta Da!!
Anyway..hope this has been helpful. Have a most wonderful New Year. I am so excited to see what God has planned.

I posted on organizing a little at a time on my blog! I guess we all think about organizing this time of year.
just the title got me excited here! I am generally organized, but always love more tips. I THINK I am more organized than I really AM!! heehee!
Nancy, I'm a firm believer in being organized, too. Writing things down and making lists sure helps keep me on track.
Happy New Year to you this week!
