A timely lesson...I say that every week, don't I??!!
My hubby and I lead a Children's Bible quizzing ministry at our church. This year we are studying Exodus, and we've been learning this exact story. It's a blessing to hear your take on it.
Thanks!

I so believe in the power of a praying mother...and it kept me going during those years of raising teens! Praise the Lord, I'm now seeing the fruit of those praying years.

What a wonderful devotion and a reminder that a mother's prayers are never done and always needed.

"She saw something special in her child and took action." Just one of the things that we as moms do, right?

Praying for our kids is so important. Mine are in their 20s, and I'm still praying earnestly for them. You're right, Nancy, we do have an enemy seeking to destroy us. My post from yesterday just happens to address this, too. I've asked readers to comment with advice on dealing with the evil one. I'd love for you and your readers to come over and add your insight.

Have a great week!

I was thinking about my son (19) who I set sail in the his own river Nile last Fall when we took him to college. No one prepared me for that moment; as a mother, I don't think that anyone can. It required a deep faith and trust in God and the process of the past 18 years that brought him to this one moment of release. All is well a year later. I'll be doing it again in the Spring, as I have a senior son and then there's the two that will be bringing up the rear in a decade's time.

It seems my life will always be about the "letting go's" and the trusting of God therein.

Nancy, I love your heart and your teaching. It means a lot to me that you would take the time to do this for us. You're sowing good seed, and my heart is ready soil.

Blessings to you in your week.

Mrs. Nancy,

The Lord has used your video again. Faith seems to be the emphasis for me this past week. Faith is what I want. I want to be proven faithful. He is my peace. Bless your hear, Mrs. Nancy:)
