I am finishing up a three book series called the "Mark of the Lion" by Francine Rivers and they are fabulous. I've sat wide eyed wondering what was going to happen next as the life of a character hung in the balance and fought back tears as the hardest of hearts came to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Though it takes place in the ancient days shortly after Christ's death, each character and their story is a reflection of lives today. As the book of Ecclesiastes says, there is nothing new under the sun, and how true it is.
This series came out in the early 90's but if you have not read it I advise you give them a try. These books are clean, thought provoking, and good for your own spiritual growth and development. You can't go wrong.
Now I'm curious. What are you reading right now?

But I just had to comment real quick! I LOVE the "Mark of the Lion" series. A friend introduced me to them years ago, and I remember not being able to tear myself away from them!

Okay these books are my favorite of all time. I have read them 3 times and one of those times was reading them aloud with my husband in our first year of marriage. He is also crazy about them. I am reading Calvin and Hobbes and am going to begin reading another favorite, for the second time, SAFELY HOME, by Randy Alcorn. It is an amazing book about underground Christians in China. It is fiction, based on a conglomerate of real people and real events. AWE inspiring!
