What an important lesson, Nancy. I try to be a peacemaker, but I see some areas where I could do better.

Have a blessed week!

I love how the Lord works. Last night's Bible study discussed being a peacemaker and not a peace keeper. Today I watch your devotional and voila, another peacemaker lesson.

Nancy,
I have enjoyed your blog and I think you do have some wonderful words of wisdom. It is true, sometimes women HAVE to work. But this is NOT God's plan for women. God has called women to be keepers at home, busy at home. This is our God-given roles and is should be embraced. This isn't to say that because we live in a sinful fallen world that circumstances won't force a woman to have to work outside of her home, and she can certainly honor God in doing so. However, this should always be the exception and not the rule. God's word doesn't change, therefore HE doesn't change.

We must be so careful that when God's word is CLEAR that we acknowledege what HE says is TRUTH.

I must admit I never saw myself as a trouble maker- but I was convicted- thank you for your wisdom. We must all determine the person we want to be and practivce those characteristics. Again thank you for brining me to your ministry.
