Update on Judy

Before moving on to the "last resort" medications that have terrible risks and side effects, Judy talked her doctors into allowing her to give her current medications one more try.  We both cried as I shared with her how many of you are praying for her.  We marveled at your faith to pray for a total stranger and it warmed our hearts like nothing else could have ever done. Thank you dear sweat wonderful ladies.  I am convinced God smiles a huge smile that spans horizon to horizon each time the sweet incense of your prayers reach His holy nose!

While speaking with Judy today I discovered several things that need to be streamlined to ease some of her burdens.  For instance, with nearly useless arthritic hands, this poor child of God struggles to open medicine bottles several times a day. Come to find out no one had ever told her about medicine dispensers available at any local drug store.

WELL...girlie girls...this just happens to be my forte!  I am not only a nurse, but an organization freak. I can't tell what a thrill it is to have a talent someone else can benefit from. So, next week I get to go over to her home and set up her medications so they are ready and waiting for her each time they are due. What a privilege to serve this wonderful woman!

Thank you so much for your prayers.  Please continue to pray for healing and/or remission and her ability to stave off infection with such a low white blood cell count.  What a pleasure to know you all!

It seems as though the Lord has a plan to use you. That is so neat. You will both be blessed!

I don't know what it is about me today but this has got me crying. Crying because I'm so amazed that God is so big and has such big plans for all of us? Crying because I can picture your friend in her helplessness? Crying because I'm so happy that you can offer your service to a dear friend and she is allowing you to serve her? I think I'm feeling the affects of all of these and more.

Judy is blessed to have you for a friend Nancy and how wonderful to be able for you to be by a dear friend's side in her time of need...what a blessing for both of you.

I just lifted Judy up in prayer again. I pray that she will be free of pain and that God's will be done.

Have a great day Nancy and a joyous weekend.

Thank you for the update.

Lord, we pray for Judy's continued healing. We thank You for the healing which has taken place and for the healing which is taking place. We ask You to make her white blood cell count normal, we pray for health in her red blood cells. We also pray for her body to be restored, we ask You to renew her youth like the eagle's and we ask You to call her body from the tomb with the same resurrection power You called Lazarus from the tomb. We pray for her to be cut free from arthritis and made spiritually, physically and mentally whole in Christ Jesus. If there is anything blocking the healing, please reveal it to her. We pray in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

I continue to have Judy in my prayers! Last night as I was having a Senior Moment and couldn't think of her name I just said Lord you know the the dear lady that I am talking about! And He DOES! Even when our frail minds don't work quite right He knows ALL! What a joy it will be for you to minister to Judy in this way to help her with her meds!!!! Tell her we love her!
